Nwaneri Trains With Arsenal’s Senior Squad Ahead PSV Europa League Clash

Arsenal starlet Ethan Nwaneri Wednesday evening was one of the youngsters that trained with the senior team ahead of the Gunners’ UEFA Europa League game against PSV on Thursday at the Emirates Stadium.

The Anglo-Nigerian made his Premier League debut against Brentford before the international break at 15 years, 181 days old to become the youngest player to play in the English topflight.

Ethan Nwaneri joined Maldini Kacurri, Catalin Cirjan and Khayon Edwards to train with the first-team squad ahead of tomorrow’s game against PSV.

Manager Mikel Arteta could ring the changes for the visit of the Dutch Eredevisie side albeit he did state in his Thursday’s press conferences that decision on his starting lineup will be made tomorrow (Thursday).

Nwaneri whose father hails from Imo state, South Eastern Nigeria trained with some other Hale End Academy products like Maldini Kacurri, Catalin Cirjan and Khayon Edward’s according to Jeorge Bird, a website that provides information on all things Arsenal Academy and youth teams.

However, Nwaneri and Kacurri are not eligible to play in the Europa League so is ruled out of the clash against the visitors.

Young striker Khayon Edwards could make the matchday squad along with midfielder Catalina Cirjan as, informed by Jeorge Bird.

According to Arteta, Gabriel Martinelli missed training through illness while Oleksandr Zinchenko is still out injured.

The duo of Mohamed Elneny and Emile Smith Rowe are still out injured on long term.
