“NNPC Ltd. trucks are arriving at the Dangote Refinery in preparation for the scheduled petrol loading on Sunday, September 15, 2024. By the end of today, at least 300 trucks will be stationed at the refinery’s fuel loading gantry,” Soneye stated.

Prime Business Africa had reported that the Federal Government announced on Friday that the Dangote Refinery would begin supply of petrol on Sunday, 15 September.

In a press briefing, chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Dr Zaach Adedeji, who is a member of the Presidential Committee on the Sale of Crude Oil and Refined Products said Dangote Refinery will sell petrol to only NNPCL while other interested marketers can buy from the national oil company.

Adedeji also stated that diesel from the Dangote Refinery will be sold directly to any interested marketer.
