NMA, ASUU Acknowledge My Contributions To Nation Building – Ngige

Former Anambra state Governor and APC presidential aspirant Dr Chris Ngige was guest of Arise News on Monday morning to speak on his ambitions and declared he has done to be voted into power.

Ngige downplayed criticisms over his handling of the crisis rocking the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) which has culminated in the ongoing strike by universities.

Ngige also spoke about his impact on the health sector.

“The Academic Staff Union has gone to the National Assembly two times. Health workers have gone there ten 10 times,” Ngige told the Arise News The Morning Show crew.

“What you will find interesting, when you ask ASUUU privately and ask the health workers privately, they will tell you that I ‘m the best candidate. That I have done what no other minister has done.

“Can you believe that the National Association of Resident Doctors came to my launching for my declaration and said this is the nest that they have seen. Even the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) is giving me an Award at the end of this month as a medical doctor that have done so much.

“ASUU will soon honour me,” Ngige enthused.
