Former Club Brugge star Dennis was on target for Watford in their 4-2 defeat at Leicester City, after getting his side’s second goal.

The Nigeria striker has thus scored five goals and assisted five goals in 12 league games which puts him at par with the likes of Eric Cantona (11 games), Jurgen Klinsmann (12 games), Arjen Robben (11 games), Andrey Arshavin (10 games) and Bruno Fernandes (nine games).

This means Dennis is only the sixth player in Premier League history to reach both five goals and five assists in 12 or fewer games, after Eric Cantona (11 games), Jurgen Klinsmann (12 games), Arjen Robben (11 games), Andrey Arshavin (10 games) and Bruno Fernandes (nine games).

Dennis’ teammate Joshua King scored the opener through a penalty against the Foxes who themselves had Jamie Vardy (brace), James Maddison and Nigeria born Ademola Lookman to thank for their goals.
