“The key issue is for both countries to produce enough energy for businesses to thrive and for people to have jobs,” he declared, envisioning a collaborative effort that would benefit both nations.

Baera pointed out a specific example of the positive impact of such collaboration, citing a company delivering solar energy to businesses in Nigeria.

He hailed the initiative as a win-win, as it not only reduced costs for Nigerian companies but also contributed to environmental sustainability by replacing polluted energy with cleaner alternatives.

Chijioke Igwe, Chairman of the NNCC, echoed the sentiment, emphasising the existing flourishing relationship between Nigeria and Norway in various sectors, including oil and gas, agriculture, renewable energy, and technology.

Igwe envisioned the event as a crucial platform to facilitate interactions between businesses from both countries, exploring mutually beneficial opportunities.
