Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is looking forward to the availability of Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi for Thursday’s Europa League clash against Spartak Moscow that parades former Super Eagles forward Victor Moses.

Ndidi has missed seven games in total for the Foxes due to a hamstring injury but was named on the bench for last Saturday’s league fixture against Arsenal which Leicester lost 2-0 to the revamped Gunners.

“Hopefully. He has just trained this week. He was one that if we needed him for 15 or 20 minutes maximum, that was our plan, but chasing the game (against Arsenal) there wasn’t that need to put him on,” Rodgers told the press ahead of Thursday evening’s game.
