Ndidi Returns From Injury Setback, Unlikely To Feature Against Brighton In Carabao Cup

NIGERIA international Wilfred Ndidi has handed his English Premier League side Leicester City a timely boost ahead of Wednesday’s Carabao Cup tie against Brighton & Hove Albion with his return to first-team training.

Ndidi was expected to be out of action until mid-November but has apparently beaten his injury woes to potentially get a chance to play for the Foxes this week.

Leicestershire Live however in a report stated that the Super Eagles defensive midfielder may not be risked against Brighton after all as manager Brendan Rodgers is wary of rushing the Nigerian back to club duties.
