Nigeria international Wilfred Ndidi has handed his English Premier League side Leicester City a timely boost ahead of Wednesday’s Carabao Cup tie against Brighton & Hove Albion with his return to first team training.

Ndidi was expected to be out of action until mid November but has apparently beaten his injury woes to potentially get a chance to play for the Foxes this week.

Leicestershire Live however in a report stated that the Super Eagles defensive midfielder may not be risked against Brighton after all as manager Brendan Rodgers is wary of rushing the Nigerian back to club duties.

Also on the mend is defender James Justin, who has been out of action since February, when he suffered a serious cruciate Ligament injury.

The youngster featured in every minute of his side’s first 23 Premier League games of the campaign up to that point
