NCC Appoints New Director Of Public Affairs

June 21, 2022
The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has appointed Information and Communications Technology (ICT) journalist and public relations practitioner, Reuben Mouka, as Director of Public Affairs.
Prior to his appointment, Mouka was the head of media and public relations, between 2009 and 2015. He exited the position after Umar Danbatta resumed as the Executive Vice Chairman of NCC.
He later joined the special duty and economic policy and analysis departments, before his current appointment as Director of Public Affairs, to replace Ikechulkwu Adinde, who is now with the special duty unit of the telecoms’ regulator.
Mouka has worked with the NCC in the last 16-years. But prior to joining the Commission, his career span across Vanguard, and MTS First Mobile, where he occupied the position of Corporate Affairs Manager.
The former journalist, who resumed his new position on June 20, has first and second degrees in Mass Communication.
