Serie A side Napoli are tinkering with the idea of reducing release clause for Victor Osimhen as pressure continues to mount from suitors from various leagues.
Napoli had slammed a release clause of €75m on the former Lille striker which has been considered to high by most suitors including Manchester United.

The €75m release clause is however standing on the way of negotiations with Napoli said to be willing to chop off €10m from the naughty sum to land it at €65m.
According to Serie A News, the 2024/25 Italian topflight leaders are willing to slash the fee for Al Hilal but that also depends on the player.
Napoli it is understood will be more comfortable with such slash if the deal takes place before June. Osimhen, who is currently enjoying his loan deal with Galatasaray, and giving the club a lot to smile about, with his impressive run, is expected to officially part ways with Napoli at the end of the current season.

Although Napoli have made it clear they do not have Osimhen in their plans, they are however eager to have good money to fortify their squad
Meanwhile, English Premier League club, Manchester United, still hold a strong interest in the 26-year-old.
As things stand, the Red Devils are not at an advanced stage to sign Osimhen, as it is claimed that the deal is taking time to be finalise.

According to TuttoJuve Reuben Amorim’s side are ‘willing to pay’ the €75m release clause in his Napoli contract and are said to have offered the Nigerian an annual salary of €15m (£12.8m).
