Major football superpowers, including Morocco, are already jostling to be awarded hosting rights for the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup.
The ongoing FIFA Club World Cup is hosted by USA but according to reports from sources close to the talks for possible bidding war, Spain and Morocco are considering proposing a joint bid for the tournament in four years time.

The respected journalist scooped that the tournament could serve as a dress rehearsal for the 2030 World Cup which both countries will co-host along with Argentina and Uruguay as FIFA celebrates its centennial (100 years of hosting the World Cup).

The last round of group games of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup are being played and will round up on Friday.
Botafogo and PSG have already booked their place in the knockout stage of the tournament.
The old format of the FIFA Club World Cup saw only eight teams which are winners of the continental club competitions vying for the ultimate prize.
