Jennifer Crumbley Convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter; Blame Extends to Parents in Unprecedented Case
A Michigan jury has ruled that Jennifer Crumbley, was guilty of parental irresponsibility marking the first time a parent has been held accountable for their child’s actions in a mass shooting.
Crumbley, the mother of Ethan Crumbley, the perpetrator of the Oxford High School tragedy, has been found guilty on four counts of involuntary manslaughter for the deaths of Madisyn Baldwin, Tate Myre, Justin Shilling, and Hana St. Juliana.
