Man Offers Viral Little Girl In Peter Obi Rally Academic Scholarship To University Level
The little girl being lifted up by one of the Obi's supporters during the mega yon Saturday, October 1.

A man identified as Okey Agu has promised to give scholarship to the little girl that appeared in a viral video of Peter Obi mega rally held on Saturday October 1.

The little wearing green vest and short, was seen in the video holding Labour Party flag, marching and dancing with people during the rally.

The rally which was held to express support for the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, attracted thousand of people known as Obi-dients in different cities across the country on the day the nation celebrated her 62nd Independence Anniversary.

The little girl was suddenly lifted by one of the Obi-dients and while on the person’s arm, she excitedly kept waving the flag and cheering the crowd who became enthralled by her display, given her age.

Mr. Agu who was touched by the little girl’s display announced in his Facebook wall his intention to sponsor her education from primary school university level.
Agu said although he doesn’t know the little girl’s financial background as the they may be richer than him, but he is willing to offer her the scholarship, noting that the kid has an inspiring charisma.

“There is something inspiring about this kid. I am not sure about the financial condition of his parents. But if someone can help me trace him I would love to offer her academic scholarship up to university level at the Victor Nwankwo Leadership Academy. This is a respectful submission with no disrespect to his parents or family- his family might even be better of than mine!
“Locate her and inbox details,” Mr. Agu wrote on his Facebook wall.

Charles Oputa popularly known as Charly Boy, who also participated in the rally in Lagos said he was touched by the little girl’s performance. “Dis little girl just melt my heart. See the excitement on her face,” Oputa wrote on his Twitter handle.

The rally which was held in different states across the country like Lagos, Uyo in Akwa Ibom State, Kaduna, Warri, Bauchi, Gombe, Benin City and also in London, and more, has been generating conversations on social media in the last 24 hours about the growing popularity of the Peter Obi and his running mate Yusuf Baba-Ahmed Datti ahead of the 2023 general election.
