Chelsea had some players returning from injuries but the emotions are not the same in City camp as they complain of a shorter recovery time.

The duo of Noni Madueke and Nicholas Jackson were guilty of missed chances especially in the first half.

Bernado Silva however scored the only goal of the match in the 76th minute to banish the thoughts of his penalty miss against Real Madrid.

City will face the winner of Sunday’s game between Manchester United and Coventry City in the final.
