Liverpool To Al Ittihad: Mo Salah Not For Sale

Liverpool enraged at desperate moves by Saudi 'money club' to sign their star player
August 24, 2023

Liverpool have unequivocally told Saudi Arabian top side Al Ittihad that forward Mohamed Salah is not for sale with Saudi League mega rich clubs keen to poach the world’s best football talents.

Salah has reportedly angered manager Jurgen Klopp by flirting with a move to Saudi Arabia despite the Merseyside side’s reluctance in sanctioning his sale according to emerging reports in the English media on Thursday evening.

The Reds have already suffered from Saudi interest in their players with Jordan Henderson and Fabinho already moving to the Middle East this summer and have released a statement stressing that they are not willing to do any such business again in this window.

Reports monitored in British media organizations by Prime Business Africa show that Salah is set to earn over £1m every week which is tax free.

The total package of the supposed Salah deal is worth over £257m.

Liverpool’s business this transfer window saw them splash the cash for Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo after losing the influential midfielders.

The Reds will be loathe to lose another star player with less than two weeks to the end of the transfer window alhough with a good offer the club could delve into the transfer market for a bargain buy.

Al-Ittihad are ‘racing against time to persuade Salah and Liverpool to accept the major deal’ before the Saudi transfer window closes on September 7.

Salah’s agent had earlier in the transfer window denied that his client is interested in a move to Saudi Arabia but that stance seem to have changed.

The ‘Egyptian Messi’ it could be recalled, threw a strop when he was substituted off in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea in their first league game of the 2023/2024 season.
