Prime Business Africa spoke with defender Alvin Maccornel as the team await necessary airport clearance Monday.
“Presently we are in Ivory Coast, now at the international airport, the free agent told Prime Business Africa.
“The match against (your country) will not be an easy one but we are hopeful that a good result can be achieved. It’s possible.
“Central Africa Republic did it so who says we cannot beat Nigeria if we take our chances and stop their dangerous players,” the centre back enthused.
The West African nation so far has 4 points in 4 matches but can still sneak into the playoff if they can secure victory over Nigeria and the Central African Republic.

Liberia will ‘host’ both Nigeria 5pm Nigerian time on Saturday and CAR in Tangier Morocco on the 16th of November after their home ground, Sam Konyon stadium failed to secure CAF approval to stage international games.
