Norgaard was not a target for Arsenal but the BBC reports on Tuesday evening that the Danish midfielder is preferred over other candidates as Partey’s replacement.

Arsenal are also expected to complete the signing of Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga this week and are expected to confirm the signing of Martin Zubimendi at the start of July.

Due to accounting reasons and when the financial year begins in football, Zubimendi’s current club hopes the deal would be confirmed at the start of July.
