Iwobi, Ndidi Onuachu, Ejuke, Akpeyi Arrive Super Eagles Camp, Training Starts Tuesday

As earlier reported by Prime Business Africa, the camp of the Super Eagles in Tangier Morocco is expected to come alive with the arrival of some players ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Liberia on Saturday.
That was the case Monday night as at least nine players have hit the camp as preparation starts for the two games against Liberia this weekend and Cape Verde next Tuesday.
Kazier Chiefs goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi arrived the Eagles nest with officials of the team and have been joined by the likes of Wilfred Ndidi, Alex Iwobi, Paul Onuachu, Chidera Ejuke, Kevin Akpoguma, Jamilu Collins and Frank Onyeka.
Prime Business Africa scooped that training will begin on Tuesday morning.

The team’s official Facebook page, Nigeria Super Eagles wrote:

“Camp opened today with officials based in Nigeria arriving Tangier at 6pm.

“Goalkeeper, Daniel Akpeyi is the first player to arrive as he flew with the officials from Lagos, Nigeria,” it confirmed.

“Training starts tomorrow. Work don start.”

The Liberia Versus Nigeria game will kick off 5pm Nigerian time on Saturday.

Izuchukwu Okosi is a Nigerian sports and entertainment journalist with two decades of experience in the media industry having begun his media journey in 2002 as an intern at Mundial Sports International (MSI) and Africa Independent Television (AIT), owners of Daar Communications Plc.

He has been part of cast in some Nollywood movies and radio dramas including Blood Money 2, Scores To Settle, Dead End 2, Another Campus Tale and Battle Line.

Aside mainstream media and the entertainment industry, he has interests in scouting/unearthing of talents in the sports and creative sectors, exports business and property development.
