Iran’s missile attack was in retaliation for the American airstrikes on its nuclear sites on Saturday.

In a post on his Truth Social on Monday, Trump said the ceasefire which will be for 24 hours, will begin at approximately midnight Tuesday eastern time. He stated that each of the two countries have six hours to “wound down and completed their in progress, final missions.” The measure, according to Trump, would bring an “Official END” to the war.

“During each Ceasefire, the other side will remain PEACEFUL and RESPECTFUL,” Trump stated via his Truth Social account.
