I Will Leave Office Corrupt Free -Buhari

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has promised to leave office come 2023, corruption-free.

Buhari stated this while interacting with South-East leaders, during his visit to Imo State.

In his words, “I want to leave as somebody who stabilised the country, in the remaining 18 months. I will make sure the elections are free and fair.”

He reiterated his commitment to socio-economic and political stability and promised that his government will continue to enhance a sense of belonging among Nigerians.

Imo Governor, Hope Uzodimma who received the President along with his Enugu State counterpart, David Umahi to the state, expressed the commitment of his administration to the peace and unity of Nigeria which he said was irrevocable.

The Governor promised to build a mini Nigeria in Imo State, where everyone has a sense of belonging, and justice and equity prevails.

President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Prof George Obizor, thanked the president, emphasising that the security of the South East can be improved if state and federal government work for hand in glove.
