Herbert Wigwe, Access Bank CEO, Dies In Helicopter Crash

Herbert Wigwe, the Group Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings Plc, has tragically passed away. Reports indicate that Wigwe lost his life in a helicopter crash near the California-Nevada border in the United States.

Details surrounding the involvement of Wigwe’s family members, including his wife and children, remain unconfirmed at this time.

According to the New York Times, authorities have not located any survivors as of Saturday morning. The Federal Aviation Administration has stated that the Eurocopter EC130 helicopter crashed around 10 p.m. local time near Nipton, Calif., an unincorporated community approximately 60 miles south of Las Vegas in eastern San Bernardino County.

As of Saturday morning, it remains unclear where the helicopter departed from and its intended destination.
