He also acknowledged the exit of veteran, Kyle Walker, praising his consistent contribution and leadership.

Guardiola discussed his concerns about Manchester City’s performance, especially given the tough upcoming fixtures, including Saturday’s Premier League clash with Chelsea.

He emphasised the importance of ball control over pure speed as the team looks to recover from recent struggles and secure Champions League qualification.

Nevertheless, the manager was clear that while the club’s current form may not reflect their usual standards, he remains confident in the squad’s ability to overcome the challenges. Guardiola urged fans to continue their support, stressing the need to “survive and qualify” during a difficult season. “We know our standards and our players,” he said. We will fight, and we will not be 25th the UCL.”
