Gov. Ganduje Submits Names Of Nominees Into Assembly Commission To Legislature

GOV Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano, on Wednesday submitted names of the Chairman and members of the Kano State Assembly Service Commission to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.

This is contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Mr Abba Anwar, in Kano.

Anwar quoted Ganduje, in a letter forwarded to the Speaker, as saying: “In keeping with the basic provision of Section 4 (1) of the Kano State House of Assembly Service Commission Law 2011 (1432 AH), hich provides for the appointment of Chairman and members of the Commission, I hereby forward their names to the Honourable House for screening and confirmation.”

He listed the nominees to include: Nasiru Mu’azu-Kiru, as Chairman, from Kiru local government, while the members were: Ishaq Tanko-Gambaga, from Dala local government, Ali Abdu-Doguwa, from Doguwa, Salisu Abubakar, from Makoda, Isyaku Umar from Rano local government area, Ladan Sabo-Ahmad, from Sumaila, Gambo Ibrahim, Makoda, Ukashatu Bello, Dambatta, Naziru Zakari, Kumbotso and Sule Musa-Adnan from Warawa local government.
