Ganduje’s Protocol Committee Inspects Eagles Square Venue Of APC National Convention

Party kicks off publicity, claims Convention will deepen internal party democracy in Nigeria

With President Muhammadu Buhari voicing the resoluteness of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to move on with its March 26 National Convention and three high-ranking governors in London today (Sunday) to see Mr President, the  leadership of the party  are perfecting plans for the crucial event.

Prime Business Africa reports that the Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Protocol,  Alhaji Abdullahi Umar  Ganduje on Sunday led other members of the Sub-Committee to  the Eagle Square, Abuja venue of the Convention to ascertain the use to which the venue will be put on the said date.

Minister of Niger Delta, Godswill Akpabio and Dr Olorunibe Mamowora, among other members of the Protocol Sub-Committee  accompanied  Ganduje to the Eagles Square.

Sources within  the Sub-Committee told Prime Business Africa that there is no going back; our party is the biggest in Africa and the venue is just fit for purpose. The APC as confirmed by Mr President is set for the March 26 National Convention.”

According to him, ‘You and I  read in the online media space today about the visit of our amiable Acting Chairman, His Excellency, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF), His Excellency Kayode Fayemi and the  Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai  to Mr President in London.

”It goes to prove to you that we are going ahead with the National Convention as originally planned. the CECPC led by the Niger State Governor  is more than prepared to give Nigerians a well-deserved National Convention.’

Meanwhile,  the Digital Media Sub-Committee chaired  by  by  Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade and co-chaired by Professor Adeolu Akande have released  posters and flyers screaming the APC  National Convention.

”After giving Nigerians the best Electoral Act, APC to use National Convention to deepen internal party democracy  in Nigeria,” one of  publicity materials released on Sunday claimed.
