Former Nigeria Aviation minister Osita Chidoka on Monday charged the Nigerian elite to ensure that Nigeria remains an indivisible nation devoid of insecurity amid the rising killings, terrorism and banditry witnessed in many parts of the country.
Chidoka was guest of Arise News Monday morning on The Morning Show as monitored by Prime Business Africa.
“The Nigerian State has to build capacity,” Chidoka told The Morning Show crew during the insightful interview.
“It’s coming soon, people will start asking questions when then that time comes nobody will be able to control everything again.
“There is an urgent need for the Nigerian elite to get involved and form a centre, otherwise the fringes of insecurity & marginalised interests will continue to pull Nigeria apart.”
“The Nigeria Police personnel guarding individuals buy bullets from the black markets and also buy their uniforms. The DSS/Nia use MTN modems to send emails,” Chidoka stressed.
The Morning Show airs Mondays to Fridays on Arise News between 8am and 11 am.
