“He’s not a kid. He’s doing good. He has the confidence, the self-confidence, the belief in what he can do. Also, he’s very clever.
“He brought us back (into the match) today with his goal, a very important goal. This, at 17-years-old, it’s really high quality. That is what we want from him.
Barcelona need just two points to be guaranteed winning the La Liga title with a triple slated for Thursday against Espanyol although the confirmation could come 24 hours earlier if Real Madrid drop points in their game against Mallorca.
Asked if the La Liga title is wrapped up, Flick was modest in his assessment.
“No, it’s football. You don’t know what happens, but we’re in a good position. We need (two) more points. This is what we want to make as soon as possible.
The league title will complete a treble for the side having won the Super Copa and the Cops del Rey beating Madrid in both finals
Kylian Mbappe scored a treble in the game for Real Madrid.
