Fidson Healthcare saw a 55.83 percent increase in its revenue, which stood at N93.08 billion for the period between January and September 2025, compared to the N59.72 billion generated in 2024.
In the company’s unaudited report and financial statements for the period ended September 30, 2025, Fidson Healthcare’s cost of sales rose by 56.34 percent year-on-year, from N35.09 billion to N54.87 billion.

Similarly, selling and distribution expenses increased by 41.24 percent year-on-year, from N5.42 billion to N7.66 billion, and administrative expenses grew by 90.08 percent, from N5.21 billion to N9.90 billion.
However, Fidson’s net exchange difference declined to N4.16 billion between the first quarter (Q1) and the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, indicating a 22.98 percent decrease.
Regardless, the drugmaker earned N16.94 billion operating profit in the first nine months of this year, surpassing the N8.80 billion reached in the corresponding period in 2024, representing a 92.40 percent growth.
In addition, Fidson reported a 38.75 percent year-on-year increase in finance costs, which grew from N3.70 billion to N5.13 billion, but it was offset by a 205.40 percent growth in finance income, which jumped from N30.36 million to N92.72 million
During the period under review, Fidson said it recorded N11.90 billion in profit before tax (PBT), surpassing the N5.13 billion PBT reached between Q1 and Q3 2024, reflecting a 131.74 percent growth.
Fidson’s tax expense also followed the same path, rising by 131.74 percent to N3.92 billion in the first nine months of this year, compared to the N1.69 billion paid as tax last year.
The company added that profit after tax (PAT) also grew by 131.74 percent year-on-year, from N3.44 billion to N7.97 billion.
