FG Proposes N47bn Hazard Allowance For Doctors -Ngige

Minister of Labour Senator Chris Ngige has hinted that the federal government has proposed an increment of hazard allowance from N40 billion to N47 billion.

He noted that the increment was in the 2022 budget which the president recently sent to the National Assembly for approval.

Ngige thanked the new leadership of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), for suspending the nationwide strike which lasted for about 63 days.

The Minister promised the National President of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), Dr. Godiya Ishaya, that he would ensure that other demands of NARD will be reviewed and resolved as soon as possible.
