Manchester City have been handed a relatively tough draw in the fourth round of the FA Cup with North London side Tottenham Hotspur their opponent for the tie slated to hold on January 27.
City eased past a hapless Huddersfield 5-0 on Sunday, made even more memorable by the return to fitness for Kelvin De Bruyne and Jeremie Doku.
The Belgian duo even combined to produce the county goal of the game scored by Doku though it was the presence of De Bruyne that seemingly excited the Cityzens the most as he had been out of action since August 2023 with a hamstring injury.
Spurs meanwhile booked their passage to the next round edging fellow Premier League side Burnley 1-0 in Friday thanks to a Pedro Porro goal.
Chelsea have also been drawn against Aston Villa in another all-Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.
The revatilised Blues have not lost in their last three games and easily defeated Preston North End 4-0.
The good Cup form by Mauricio Pochettino’s men would see them face Middlesbrough Tuesday night in the semifinals of the Carabao Cup.
Manchester United, who defeated Wigan Athletic 2-0 on Monday night will be away either to League Two Newport County or National League side Eastleigh.
