Everything To Know About Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj Feud

Megan Thee Stallion

Megan Thee Stallion, known for her amazing performances and chart-topping hits, dropped a new track titled “Hiss” recently, causing a stir in the music world. While fans usually celebrate Megan’s releases, this time around, the song appears to be reigniting a longstanding feud with fellow rapper Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty.

Controversial Lyrics

In “Hiss,” Megan delivers a line that has fans speculating it’s a direct shot at Nicki and Petty: “These h0es don’t be mad at Megan, these h0es mad at Megan’s Law.” The reference to Megan’s Law, a federal statute requiring public disclosure of information about registered s3x offenders, seems to allude to Petty’s past legal troubles.

Petty pleaded guilty to the attempted r@pe of a 16-year-old in 1994, and in 2020, he faced further charges for failing to register as a s3x offender in California.

A subsequent lawsuit by Petty’s victim, Jennifer Hough, implicated both Petty and Nicki in harassment, though the latter was later dropped from the case.

Nicki Minaj’s Response

While Megan did not explicitly name Nicki or Petty in her song, Nicki Minaj took to Instagram Live to share a verse that many believe is a direct response.

Minaj’s lyrics include lines like, “Bad bitch she like six foot, I call her Bigfoot,” and a reference to Megan’s 2020 shooting incident with Tory Lanez. The verse seems to mock Megan’s ordeal and even includes a photo of Minaj’s feet, further escalating the tension.

Megan’s Interview on The Breakfast Club

In response to the brewing controversy, Megan called into The Breakfast Club, where she discussed the track and its potential targets. When asked if she mentioned any names in the song, Megan coyly responded, “I’m saying a hit dog gon’ holler.”

The cryptic remark suggests that those who feel targeted are the ones reacting strongly to the track. Megan further emphasized her indifference to the situation by sharing a photo of herself laughing on her Instagram Story.

History of Feud Megan Thee Stallion and Nicki Minaj Feud

This recent clash isn’t the first time Megan and Nicki have exchanged words. Last year, Nicki released “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” where she made a veiled reference to Megan by stating, “I don’t mess with horses since Christopher Reeves.”

The feud’s origins remain unclear, with some speculating it started when Megan collaborated with Cardi B on “WAP.” Regardless of the roots, the ongoing tension between the two artists remains palpable.
