Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has been named in the Leicester City starting lineup to face Nottingham Forest tonight at the King Power Stadium, reports Prime Business Africa.
Ndidi’s was injured while on international duty prior to the friendly against Algeria and had to return back to his club early.
Ndidi’s availability is a massive boost for Brendan Rodgers due to his defensive boys although he needs to improve on his faltering form which had not been at the level he had always been.
Kelechi Iheanacho who has played a total of 171 minutes of football so far this season with one goal to his credit is named on the bench.
Striker Taiwo Awoniyi who has started three games for Nottingham Forest this season in the Premier League and had come off the bench on four occasions starts for Forest but Emmanuel Dennis who has played four times this season, all from the substitute bench, is once again among the nine subs for tonight’s game.
Kick off is less than 30 minutes away.
