The PDP flag bearer commended the turnout of voters at the polling unit and urged INEC to improve performance in organising elections m, especially the off-cycle ones

“I am impressed with the turnout of voters but INEC really needs to step up their game,” Ighodalo stated.

“I believe strongly that the preparation for an off-cycle should be better to forestall some of the delays we witnessed today,” he added.

The governorship election is holding in the state today, 21 September. Over 2 million voters who collected their permanent voter cards are expected to cast ballots to elect the state’s number for the next four years.
