D’Tigers Seeks To Bounce Back From Guinea Defeat, Plays Benin Tonight

Nigeria’s men’s basketball national team, D’Tigers will on Saturday evening seek to bounce back from their opening day defeat to Guinea in the 2023 FIBA AfroCan Qualifiers for Zone 3 taking place at Palais des Sports de Treichville in Abidjan.

The Nigerian men lost 65-62 to Guinea on Friday and faces an uphill task to qualify for the tournament proper.

Benin Republic are the opponents for D’Tigers before they round off their qualifying campaign on Monday, 3 July.

Nigeria’s opponents in today’s game, Benin Republic were defeated 74-58 by Cote d’Ivorie.

Lionel Kouadio was the star of the show for Cote d’Ivoire as he delivered 22 points.
