Also named among the nominees include Liverpool fullback Trent Alexandre-Arnold who started the month under focus with a sublime free-kick and an assist at West Ham United.

Trent Arnold also set up three goals subsequently in November as his team kept two clean sheets.

Portuguese fullback Joao Cancelo was integral to three straight wins for Manchester City.

Also making the cut is Liverpool’s Diogo Jota who made sure Roberto Firmino’s absence was not felt up front with three goals in as many matches. The Portuguese’s strikes came in successive 4-0 home wins against Arsenal and Southampton.

Portuguese playmaker Bernado Silva is arguably the Player of the Season so far and was deservedly named among the best stars of November.

Silva was in superb form, scoring twice and starring at the heart of Man City’s midfield during the month. Silva’s goals came in the derby win at Man Utd and then against Everton.
