Amidst the collective mourning, international superstar David Adeleke, better known as Davido, took a moment during his ongoing Timeless tour in Manchester to offer his condolences to Mohbad’s grieving family.

We’re human beings too, and it takes a lot for us to come out, perform, and deliver every night, and we do that because we love you. You feel me. Special shoutout to my brother; we know you’re in heaven watching us. Tonight, we turn up for you.”
This wasn’t the first time Davido expressed his grief over Mohbad’s untimely demise. Shortly after the tragic news broke, he took to Twitter, sharing a candle emoji in honour of the departed singer. Like the rest of the entertainment industry, Davido was deeply shaken by the sudden loss of a promising talent.
In a remarkable act of kindness, Davido extended his support to Mohbad’s bereaved family by gifting them ₦2 million.
In a video captured after Mohbad’s funeral, the family expressed their gratitude, revealing that Davido had sent both the financial assistance and heartfelt condolences through a representative. They sincerely thanked him for his generous contribution during their difficult time.
