Commonwealth Games Update: Team Nigeria’s Men and Women Athletes Reach Final

Team Nigeria are through to the final of the Men’s 400m Athletics event after finishing top of their heat in a time of 38.85 seconds reports Prime Business Africa.

The Wome also did Nigeria proud by making it to the final of the 4x100m as they beat others to finish first as they clocked a time of 42.57 seconds in Birmingham.

Miesinnei Genesis scooped gold medal for Team Nigeria after her win over Canada’s Madison Parks, to win women’s wrestling freestyle 50kg.

Genesis’ 3-1 win made it three gold medals for Nigeria in the  wrestling events.
