In the Women’s Para Powerlifting event, the duo of Folashade Oluwafemiayo and Bose Omolayo won Gold and Silver respectively.

Oluwafemiayo was completely dominant and consequently broke the world record with her last lift.

The cheering news comes after the track and field stars who participated in the 400m Men’s Semis failed to reach the podium on Wednesday night.

Big Brother Naija Season 4 runner up housemate, Michael Edwards who represented the country in the High Jump finished in a disappointing 6th place on Wednesday.
