Chelle Names Squad For Unity Cup, Russia Friendly

Super Eagles head coach, Eric Sekou Chelle has named a formidable squad for the 2025 Unity Cup tournament in London and the proposed friendly game against Russia in June with Kano Pillars forward Ahmed Musa making a comeback to the team, reports Prime Business Africa.

The Unity Cup was last held in 2004 but has returned this year with Nigeria, Ghana, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica facing off at the GTech Community Stadium in London May 28 -31.

The players lined up for the tournament and the friendly against Russia are 25 in total with only Nigerian Tornadoes midfielder, Papa Daniel Mustapha, the only home-based player that made the cut.
