In her revelation, Cardi B admitted, “I’ve been single for a minute now. But I’ve been afraid…not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world.” She disclosed that despite contemplating sharing the news earlier, she had hesitated but felt it was time to be open about it.

The announcement aligns with recent social media activity, as the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram just days before Cardi B’s confirmation.

Last week, she had posted cryptic messages on Instagram stories, emphasizing self-love, personal growth, and the importance of shedding “dead weight” in various aspects of life.

Cardi B expressed her excitement for the upcoming year, stating, “I want to start 2024 fresh…open. I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning.”

She hinted at a focus on herself both professionally and personally and highlighted the need to rid herself of “dead weight,” including aspects like mentality, procrastination, laziness, and people.

In a previous post, she implied outgrowing the relationship, expressing fatigue in protecting others’ feelings.

“You know when you just outgrow relationships. I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST,” she affirmed. As Cardi B steps into the new year, it seems clear that she’s embracing a period of self-discovery and prioritizing her own well-being.
