A win for the girls today against the girls from DR Congo will see them earn $400,000 guaranteed. Should the girls make it all the way to the final and clinch the title, they will come home not, only with the trophy but also $600,000 (about one billion naira).

CAF increased the prize money in the Women Champions league as part of efforts at encouraging more participation of women in the round leather game in the continent as well as ensure adequate reward for hard work.
Recall that the Continental ruling body doled out $150,000 to all the teams participating in the championship, thus ensuring that even teams who could not progress to the later stages of the tournament will benefit financially.

In the second semifinal equally billed for today, host FAR of Morocco will face FC Masar of Egypt, a tie which promises to be another cracker. Third place match of the tournament holds on Friday while the final holds on Saturday, November 23.
