Confederation Cup campaigners, Enyimba, have their hands full this Sunday as they take on Black Bulls Maputo of Mozambique at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.

The two-CAF Champions league winners have been neither here nor there in their recent matches and will be hoping to have cause to smile at the expense of their visitors today.

Enyimba suffered a 3-0 demolition in the first leg in Maputo two weeks ago. The Peoples Elephant have not been able to pick a victory in the last ten matches prompting the Aba based side to part ways with former Coach Yemi Olarenwaju while settling for former Rivers Untied coach Stanley Eguma.

Today’s encounter will be a test case for Eguma who has been saddled with the responsibility of returning Enyimba to winning ways and whose experience both in the league and at the continental arena has been cited as reason for his engagement.

While Enyimba currently occupy the 9th position in the Nigeria top flight, their visiting opponents are table toppers of their league back home.

The task is not cheap for Enyimba as they currently lead from behind in Group D of the Confederation Cup which runs in a league format.

Zamalek lead the group with seven points followed by Black Bulls Maputo who trade tackles with Enyimba today, while Al Masry are  in the third place with four points.

Enyimba only have a point to show for their efforts in three matches played so far. Only two teams will emerge from each of the four groups.

Aside from Enyimba’s clash with Black Bulls, other encounters lined up today in the Confederation Cup include CS Sfaxien of Tunisia against Simba of Tanzania, Asec Mimosa of Cote d Ivoire against USM Alger of Algeria, and Enyimba next opponent after Black Bulls, Al Masry of Egypt against Zamalek also of Egypt.
