Buhari Consoles Oyo State, Alao-Akala Family On Demise Of Former Governor

President Mohammadu Buhari has extended his commiserations to the family of Alao-Akala family, the government and people of Oyo State on the demise of the former governor of the state, Otunba Christopher Alao-Akala on Wednesday.
A release signed by Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity on Wednesday prays God to grant the mourning family and state in general the strength to bear the death of the former governor.
The president extolled the virtues and work ethics of the former police officer and civilian governor whom the country’s number one citizen said served institutions and communities meritoriously.
“The President trusts that family, friends and associates who mourn the late Governor, will honour his vision of entrenching good governance in the country and passion to lift the downtrodden in the society.
“The President prays God almighty to grant the departed eternal rest and comfort those who mourn,” the Presidential release stated.
The late Alao-Akala was aged 71.
