Prime Business Africa reports that the early morning in-flight death of high-profile passenger on British Airways London-Abuja fligh number BA 83 , Air Vice Marshal Osita Obierika (rtd), has taken a big toll on the international airline and its passengers as the 7.50 am Abuja- London leg of the flight was moved to the evening of the same day as there was no no flight on ground .
This newspaper had reported that the airline’s pilot had announced a medical emergency involving passenger AVM Obierika who later died in the BA aircraft, forcing the pilot to detour to El Prat airport in Barcelona Spain in an emergency landing.
