President-elect Bola Tinubu and Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima took their oaths of office on Monday, officially assuming their roles as the President and Vice President of Nigeria. Abubakar received a commendable 6,984,520 votes.

Meanwhile, Peter Obi of the Labour Party claimed the third position with a respectable total of 6,101,533 votes. Rabiu Kwankwaso of the NNPP secured fourth place with 1,496,687 votes.
