Prime Business Africa also gathered that one of the major issues necessitating the emergency meeting, as sought by the NWC, is the much-needed NEC’s approval for APC’s timetable for all events leading to the 2023 general elections as they relate to the ruling party’s primaries to elect candidates for all elections and to submit same to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in good time.

Other urgent matters for the Wednesday April 20, 2022 NEC emergency meeting may include the need to secure the approval of NEC and that of President Muhammadu Buhari for other NWC decisions relating to the timetable for APC congresses, especially the proposed N100 million cost for presidential forms as exclusively reported by Prime Business Africa.
