Ahead of Sunday’s Nigeria Professional Football League game between Mountain of Fire Miracles (MFM) and Akwa United at the Teslim Balogun stadium, Lagos, the General Overseer of the Church, Dr D. K Olukoya has ordered the dissolution of the coaching crew led by Lekan Gabriel as well as the board of the club.
The immediate sack of the coaching crew is the culmination of poor results with the recent 3-0 defeat to Gombe United confining the Lagos side at the bottom of the log.
A coach simply known as Ikechukwu from an amateur side known as G12 Prime Business Africa gathered has been put in temporary charge of the team for today’s (February 6) league game against Akwa United.
Meanwhile a new Technical Director will be appointed at the club within the month of February with sources close to the club hinting that the incoming decision maker is someone related to the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
