The Nigeria Labour Congress, Edo State Chapter, has applauded the Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, for embarking on the ambitious project of developing the Benin Port, which will boost the state’s economy and create thousands of jobs for the citizens.

In a statement, Edo NLC chairman, Odion Olaye, hailed the governor on emergence of a preferred bidder (Mota Engil Africa) for the development of the Benin Port.
