Benfica Qualifies For UCL Group Stage, Beats Dynamo Kyiv 5-0 On Aggregate

Portuguese side Benfica booked their spot in the UEFA Champions League group stage following their 3-0 win on Tuesday night against Dynamo Kyiv in the second leg of the qualifying stage reports Prime Business Africa.

Benfica had defeated Dynamo Kyiv 2-0 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League play-off tie and now advances to the group stages with a 5-0 aggregate win.

The draw for the group stage draw will hold on Thursday evening at 5pm Nigerian time.

Following their victory, Benfica makes it to the Pot 3 of the draw ceremony.

UCL Group Stage Confirmed Draw Pots:

Pot 1: Real Madrid, Frankfurt, Man City, AC Milan, Bayern, PSG, Porto, Ajax

Pot 2: Liverpool, Chelsea, Barcelona, Juventus, Atletico, Sevilla, Leipzig, Spurs

The final ties in the qualifiying stages will hold on Wednesday evening with the winners joining the lucky teams in the draw.
