August 29, 2022

Barcelona striker and former Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the victim of a horrific incident at 1am Monday morning as the Chelsea target had his home at Castelldefels, Spain burgled by four men dressed in hoodo.

The 33-year-old left Arsenal for Barca back in January and has been linked with a move back to the Premier League this summer.

However, El Pais have reported on a far more pressing issue as Aubameyang and his family were attacked in their home.

The Gabon international is said to have been wounded in the attack albeit his wife was not reported to have been hurt.

The burglary of the homes of footballers and indeed celebrities in other spheres of life have been common in Europe.

A manhunt for the criminals who according to witnesses fled in a white Audi has begun.
