Aston Villa Signs Arsenal’s Defender Chambers On Three-year Deal

Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has departed the club on a permanent basis to link up with Aston Villa, it has been confirmed on Thursday night.
The news of Chambers’ departure from Arsenal came as a huge shock to the Gunners’ fan base.
The deal is reportedly worth just £2m plus add ons with his salaries saved as his contract ces to an end this summer.
‘’Calum Chambers has joined Aston Villa in a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee,” an official statement from Arsenal on the club’s website.
‘‘We wish Calum all the best for the next chapter in his career and thank him for his contribution to Arsenal over the past eight seasons,” Arsenal.com further said.
‘’Aston Villa is delighted to announce the signing of Calum Chambers from Arsenal.
‘’The versatile defender, who can operate at both centre-back and right-back, has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal,” Aston Villa announced on its website afterwards.
